Obituary for Norman Goldberg
Norman Goldberg of Owings Mills, Maryland passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at the age of 93. He is survived by his children, Shelley Goldberg, Sharon (Bruce) Glisson, Jolie Susan, Rob (Melissa Capello) Goldberg; grandchildren, Jordan (Chavie) Lichtenberg, Eden (Justin) Kleeman, Courtney (Timm) Koerber, Gemma, Jesse (Perla), and Brooks Glisson, Dustin and Brett Wilmer, Charlotte and Claudia Skolasky; great grandchildren Stone, Quinlen, and Remy Koerber, Maya Kleeman, Madilyn Wilmer; sister Lynn (Jerry) Carr, and Sonya (late Irv) Goodman, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Ray (Phyllis) Goldberg, and parents, Morris Goldberg and Eva Harris.
Norman was a proud veteran. He loved his family. He was a lover of jazz music, cooking (and eating), nature (especially bird feeding and watching). He was a lifelong fan of the Baltimore Zoo, Orioles, and Ravens. He loved softball and played every Sunday well into his 70s. He lived life to the fullest and maintained his independence to the very end.
