Rakhil Tavdidishvili, 92, of Baltimore, Maryland, passed away on Thursday, June 3rd, 2021. She is survived by her loving sister, Ruto Tavdidishvili, and niece Maya Yakobi, she is survived by many more loving family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Iosif and Debora Tavdidishvili.

Rakhil came from a family of 9 daughters and 1 brother. She was a fifth child. They grew up in a house in Sukhumi, All siblings lived close to each other with their families. All the nephews and nieces would come to Rakhil (nickname Lala) who lived in her parent's house until 1994. She was a second mother to the whole family. She lived with her sister Ruto in the house during the civil war in Georgia 1992-1994, after which they were forced to leave the ancestors' house and move to the United States, where their older sister lived. For everyone in the family Lala was a symbol of hard work, and incredible love for life, she was always a fighter for family. All her life she lived in the same house, then the same apartment building in US with her youngest sister Ruto and her disabled son Merabi. She will be always remembered and missed by all of us, her nephews and nieces and our children.  May her memory be for a blessing always.
