I was both shocked and saddened to hear of Reggie.s passing. I met her at the Pikesville Senior Center and I enjoyed talking to her and hearing about her family. she was the sweetest person and I am sure she will be missed by family and friends. Reggie used to call me CUZ because somewhere on my father.s side there was some sort of connection or relation. which I am not sure of exactly. may your memories of her be a comfort to all!!!

We are sending our thoughts and prayers to the entire Rodbell family during this terribly sad time. During our time together at the Pikesville Senior Center, Reggie often spoke so proudly of her husband, children and grandchildren. It was clear how much she loved her family and her family totally loved her. Your family, Pikesville Senior Center, and the world has certainly lost a beautiful, warm and giving woman. My life has been enriched by knowing Reggie.

My Sincerest Condolences to the Family of Reggie Rodbell
My heart is very heavy with sadness at the loss of Reggie. We served for years on the Council and various committees, attended many events at Pikesville Senior Center as well as going many of the Pikesville Senior Center trips. She loved her family and shared many memories of times they shared together. As much as she loved her children and grandchildren she loved her husband even more. Reggie and I often joked about being sisters from another mother because we often shared familiar experiences in our lives. I was looking forward to seeing her at the Center when it reopened. We spoke on the phone through out this pandemic. Reggie will be missed at the Senior Center, she spent many hours (almost everyday) volunteering at the Senior Center.

Your children spoke of the importance family meant to their mother. How support and defense of family was passed on from her and Frank to them all. I think back just a few years to a somewhat heated discussion, on my part, with Frank. Frank remained calm. Reggie though, while remaining seated flashed me some of the angriest eyes I had ever seen. They expressed outrage at what she saw as an attack on her husband. I had never been quieted as quickly before and I have not since. I left the room chastised, thinking only, “What a magnificent wife”.

I was deeply saddened to see the notice about Reggie. I met her at the PIkesville Senior Center and we would also see one another and chat when our visits coincided at the beauty shop. We often shared information about favorite books and I delighted in hearing about the pride she had for her family. It was evident that she gave warmth and selfless devotion on a daily basis to the Senior Center. Reggie had charm, was an engaging conversationalist, and gave endless encouraging greetings and assistance to the volunteers, staff, patrons, and all who were privileged to know her. Also, so very admirable was the strength and courage she portrayed facing the difficult hurdles in her life. I will always treasure her friendship and lovingly use the beautiful afghan she made and surprised me with, a tribute to our friendship. It is with great sadness that I express my deepest sympathy. She was a treasure and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May your wonderful memories sustain you at this most difficult time.

To the Rodbell Family,
My sincere condolences on the passing of your beloved Reggie. I first met Reggie at the Pikesville Senior Center when I came to register as a member and then became a volunteers. The first person I saw at the center was Reggie with her warm, welcoming smile. Reggie had the ability to make people feel comfortable and relaxed. She was always there to lend a helping hand or a listening ear no matter what else was going on. I will miss Reggie and the many great conversations we have had. She became my inspiration and will continue to be. I am so thankful to have had both the honor and privilege of knowing Reggie. May her memory be a blessing.

Reggie helped us celebrate our 50 th anniversary 2 years ago. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you Frank and all the family. She loved you all greatly . Love Karen and Tim Bowling.

Oh my, oh my, what sad and upsetting news. Reggie was just wonderful to talk to and she was helpful with knowing just what the right thing to do in helping senior center issues. I spoke to her about a year ago. It is true we should never wait too long to call a friend and find out how they are. We may never get the chance to speak to that person again.

I am so sad to read of Reggie's death. Absolutely devastated. I thought she was a wonderful person to interact with and what a loss to the Pikesville Senior Center she will be. Reggie always knew how to solve a problem that arose and she was tactful, always courteous and friendly. I spoke to her about a year ago on the phone. This awful news only reinforces how important it is to keep in touch with people we care about. We neve know if that would be the last time one would speak to each other.

All The Family,
We were neighbors & friends for many years & shared lots of fun times. The Rodbell women were a constant in my life & were always there to help with my girls. Reggie took great care in the way she dressed & was impeccably groomed for all occasions. She loved telling stories about her children & rarely started or completed a sentence without mentioning her husband. She surely loved & believed in Frank and shared his opinions on every subject. What a lucky man to be so loved. She was 17 when they married & was confident always that he was the one. Having that kind of love story is in itself a life worth living.
