We are so sorry to read about Rick's passing. He really was a nice person. As others have said, memories of the entire Blum family arise at a time like this.

My parents Henrietta and Manny Kain were part of the extended family. I remember many good times shared with the Maltz and Bloom families. Sending love to all the cousins. Janice and Scott Babus

I have fond memories of Cousin Ricky from when I was a kid and his parents (Aunt Ruthie and Uncle Stuart) lived next door to us. And growing up seeing him at family holidays. He was always kind and supportive. We always made sure that he got a turkey leg on Thanksgiving! I am saddened by his passing and will miss him.

It has been years since I saw Ricky. I remember telling him that he looked like and reminded me of Charles Nelson Reilly. He laughed and told me that I was not the only one that told him that and he wished he too could have been on Hollywood Squares !
One day Ricky ran all the home to retrieve his kippa in order to properly recite the kaddish being said at Catonsville Community College on Holocaust Remembrance Day.
Ricky was a kind, witty and humorous person who brought a smile to everyone he met.
Our graduating class of PHS 1976 has lost one of its finest.
May Ricky's memory always be a Blessing to his family and friends.

It is with great sorrow that I mourn the loss of my cousin Rick. There are so many fond memories that I have growing up with him. Our families were really like one big family. May his memory be a blessing. He is now at peace being with his mother, father and sister. He will be missed.
