Ruth Jane Wohl, of Baltimore, MD, passed away on Thursday, October 20th, 2022 at the age of 101. Born at Sinai Hospital in 1921, Mrs. Wohl was an early graduate of Sinai's nursing program going on to serve in the Navy during WW II. Retiring to raise her children she returned to nursing after the passing of her husband, the late Dr. Milton Wohl. As a mainstay on the Pediatric Floor at Sinai Hospital she was later honored as Nurse of the Year.

She is survived by her daughters, Susan Wohl, Linda Beck (Rory Beck deceased); son, Barry Wohl (Dahlia Hirsch); four grandchildren, Casey Beck, Michael Wohl (Emily Taylor), Lauren Wohl (Jonathan Rotner), Margot Wohl (Grant Fisher); and great-grandchildren Yael Maya Wohl Rotner, Lev Gabi Wohl Rotner and Malca Rose Taylor Wohl.
