I have been working for Mr. Friedman for the past 5 years. I loved the way that his energy lit up the office and when he laughed you couldn't help but laugh along with him. He was probably the most positive and upbeat person I knew. He regularly sang and danced around the office and you could just see how much he enjoyed life. He was truly an inspiration and he will be deeply missed. My family would like to send their condolences to the entire Friedman family.

I first met Sidney in 1977 when he would join the management team of the old Computer Center Inc for dinner meetings every few months. When we left on our own business in 1978 Sidney was the logical choice as a CPA for the business and our personal interests. We could not have made a better choice. Always wise, jovial, positive and professional, he has remained our business guide to this day. Condolences to Marc and his wonderful staff. I'll miss Sid for a mountain of reasons.

There are not enough words to describe how amazing Sid was. Not only was he a great boss and mentor but he was a true friend and member of our family. I will miss his little giggle and little sing song when he walked into the office. While I only learned 2 or 3 words of Yiddish, I learned so much more professionally and personally from him in the 23 1/2 years that I had the honor and privilege of working for him. SMF was definitely one of a kind and we will all miss him tremendously. Leslie, Jeff, Abbi & Julia Sacks

Dear Eunice, Marc, Amy, Neil and the rest of the Friedman Family,
We are deeply sorry for your loss. We will always remember Sidney as a sweetheart of a guy who was so full of life and passion, for his family, his work, Beth El, the Ravens, the O’s and so much more! May his memory be a blessing for all of you. Sending love and hugs your way.

Dear Eunice and all the family - Sidney was so passionate everything and everyone he loved. His decades-long commitment to Beth El was exemplary and as a past president, he offered me great advice when I needed it. And some advice when I may have not wanted it. He was so smart and sharp, with a great sense of humor. I’ll miss Him. May his memory be a blessing.

Deepest and most heartfelt condolences to the entire Friedman family. Sidney wrote the book on how to be a true mensch. Not too long ago, we shared a very meaningful conversation. It will be remembered always. Eunice, thanks for sharing Sidney with all of us. May his memory forever be a blessing.

Rest In Peace, Sidney. ❤️
