Sherrie & Larry, I remember spending many good times with both your parents over Alma's. Both of them were such kind, wonderful people. Now they can be together again.

Sid and Terry, and Larry and Sherri were our neighbors on Karen Drive during the 50’s, 60’s and 70s. No one was as more positive, had a greater outlook on life, and smiled more than Sid. He made the world a better place. May he rest in peace.

Dear Larry and Sherri,
Your dad was a wonderful man and I am sorry to hear about his death. I am looking at a picture, I have, of him at my parents’ wedding. He was my dad’s best man who my father jokingly referred to as George. I didn’t have your cellphone to call you. May you be comforted with the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.

Uncle Sidney was one of a kind. He always asked about me or sent his special greetings to me through his niece, and my best friend Barby. He had a way with words and one of the nicest man I ever met. He and Aunt Terry had a special piece of my heart.

I knew Sidney when I was a child and lived with my grandparents on Collington Avenue. Our family was very friendly with the Katz family. I have a picture of him at a shore where we went to picnic and swim. Please accept my condolences on your loss.

Was so sorry to hear of Dad’s passing! We go back along time. I remember the long weekend trips we used to take, there were a total of 5 couples, we had a blast! I will always remember both of them like that! Good memories last forever,

Dear Larry and Family,

How sad that Sidney has left us but grateful for his gift of wordplay that amused and informed. His ability with Yiddish and English meanings was amazing.

I met Sid at Sunrise when I would go visit our mom Marcia. I would love to talk to Sid. Whether it was his stories, knock knock jokes, or his songs it was wonderful. One day I was doing picks for a football pool which I wasn’t really able to concentrate on so I asked Sid which team he thought of each pair would win. It was a fun activity. Sending condolences to Sid’s family.

Sid was the kindest and certainly the funniest man I've ever known. He was always smiling, joking and bringing joy to those around him. He was a devoted father, father-in-law, grandfather and great-grandfather. His sharp wit was impressive in all things. His creativity with words was amazing. I will miss him deeply.

Larry and Family,
How sad to know that we will never again be able to see Sid's beautiful smile!! His spirit taught all of us that our only handicap is that which we impose upon ourselves. He and your mom were our next door neighbors when we lived at The Clubhouse and now they are again looking after each other forever. May you and your family find solace in your happiest memories of Sid and Terry. Please accept our deepest condolences and may Sid forever rest in peace.

So sorry to learn of Sidney's passing. He was a kind, good natured, friend who brought many smiles and laughter to anyone who spent time with him. Interesting that Jan Schrum left this world the same week. Larry and Cheryl gave so much of themselves to honor both of these souls...may their memory be a blessing and may the family here be comforted.
