I am going to miss Ms. Susie.

Between her and my mother, they were often the anchors that kept ashore as I sailed through the turbulent sea called life. It saddens my heart, that she will no longer be here. I am going to miss hearing her sing Zippity-do-dah in the morning and our long discussions about life, from our varying viewpoints.

Because of her, I was able to do things that I would’ve never dreamed of, seen things that most only have seen through a pixelated screen, and we both shared “secrets” of a vastly different cultures only to find out that maybe that weren’t as secret.

Susie-Q, tonight, I hope you enjoy the best Shabbat Dinner you have ever had in your life for all time, let the Rashi flow, and eat all the sweets you want. This time, nobody can tell you no....

I bet there is some cinnamon kugel hiding somewhere, with the extra dust, I promise

Ian, Casey, Phil & family: My heart breaks over this very sad news. I knew the love and closeness you shared, as a first hand observer since 1979. Hopefully those happier memories will allow Susie to live on in your hearts forever. She was always so kind & enjoyable to be around at family dinners. There is never a “right” time to lose someone you love and it always feels like it was just too soon. I pray that she is at peace and that Rose, Herman, Bonnie & Nadine are “there “ to welcome her. Sending you all a huge hug along with my heartfelt sympathy.
