Obituary for Dr. William Fox
Dr. William Fox, of Columbia, MD, passed away on Saturday, May 7th, 2022, at the age of 74. He is survived by his wife, Arlene Rose Fox (nee Zlatin), his children, Naomi (Yaron) Starosta and Gale (Will) Palmer, his siblings, Michael (Liliya) Fox and Roberta (Faizul) Kahn, and his grandchildren, Aidan, Spencer, and Elliott Starosta, and Shira Palmer.
Dr. William Fox cherished his family, supported education and innovation, and personified generosity, integrity, and honesty. He faced life with a wry sense of humor and pursuit of a more equitable world. As a private-practice cardiologist and former University of Chicago Medical School professor, he increased the duration and quality of many lives, taught new doctors the skills required for compassionate and holistic care, and advocated for access to quality health care for all.
Services at Sol Levinson's Chapel 8900 Reisterstown Road Pikesville, MD 21208, on Monday, May 9th, 2022, at 1:00 pm. Internment at Hebrew Young Men's Cemetery. Please omit flowers.
