Dear Margie and Family,
I was so saddened to see that your mom has passed away. She was such a bright spot to so many of us. I always looked forward to seeing her in shul and spending time talking with both of you. She always had a smile on her face. She was the true meaning of "a lady"...kind, caring, sincere and loving. I can't tell you how touched I was when you brought her over to visit when my mom died at the beginning of this year, when shiva was a normal part of life. I am sorry that you cannot be surrounded by family and friends, but please know that my thoughts are with you at this most difficult time. The love that you shared with each other was beautiful to witness. Hold your memories close.

Margie, my deepest sympathy on the loss of your mom. She and your dad were so sweet and loving to each other. It was my pleasure to have helped them find their condo. I know they enjoyed every minute of living there together. She always had a big smile on her face! My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this very sad time.

Margi and Steve,
I am feeling very sad that my new neighbor and old shul friend is no longer with us. Elaine was such a beautiful person inside and out. She had such a compassionate soul that you felt so warm and loved just by being in her presence. She loved coming to Minyan after her beloved Leonard died and spoke about all his wonderful attributes with a twinkle in her eye. I remember when she learned her special Torah reading for his yarzeit and we were so proud of her. Her joy overflowed especially when you Margie moved closer to her, when you Steve came in from Israel to be with her and when her grandchildren came to shul for her to show them off. I have not seen Elaine as much as I would have liked in the past 8 months but when I did last month it was as if time had stop. It felt as if it was only yesterday I was sitting next to her in shul or seeing her in the parking lot as she asked me if we have moved in yet. Her warmth and great concern for you was always around her no matter when you saw her. Please accept my condolences to the entire family and may Elaine's memories be a blessing to you and everyone that knew her.

She was quiet but appeared to be a wonderful Mom. She did a great job raising you 2. From the messages I have read here, We all were blessed to have her as a volunteer for Jewish Family Services.May you remember & cherish all the good times you shared with her.May Hashem bless her Soul. To the family of Elaine Fox:
I was so sorry to hear about Elaine's passing. She was warm, caring, and glowed when she spoke about her family. We both had children who lived in Fairfax, Virginia and often spoke about them. I met Elaine during the years I worked at Jewish Family Services where I worked in Volunteer Services, coordinated the Kosher Food Pantry and the Centerpieces for Tzedakah project. Elaine volunteered for me for years. She was talented, handy, eager to help, and a joy to be with. May memories of happy times sustain you, and may you be comforted among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem. Baruch Dayen Haemet.
