seventy plus years ago, janet was a schoolmate at isaac davidson hebrew school, an institution of questionable merit. our teacher for several years, was miss sibel, also an institution of questionable merit. janet was an excellent student and miss sibel's pet. that was not a difficult distinction, as the remainder of the class was a group of jewish hoodlums. i sat behind c. skurow, and we were in-trouble all of the time. i was able to wisely manipulate myself into a position of renown, my expulsion. through the years, via one of my favorite people, sister marcia, i would run into janet at which time, we would review our doctoral training at isaac davidson. we would laugh and bend over in
pain. fond memories! great lady.

Dear Melissa, Gail, Andy & Feinberg Family,
It would be very easy to just repeat everything Betty said about Janet! We were in the same position as my daughter, Robin is married to Andy and Betty’s son, Steve is married to Gail. We also were always included in family holiday meals! We always felt close to Janet & Gil and the Feinberg family! We have not been with Janet for awhile because of the pandemic but spoke to her often! I will miss our conversations bragging about our grandchildren’s latest accomplishments! Like all of her family and friends we will miss Janet terribly! We all do have wonderful memories! May you Rest In Peace Janet!

I am so glad that Janet volunteered to fill in on our condominium executive board several years ago. She continued hers husband's legacy; Gil had served as our president, vice president, director and chairman of various committees. Janet transferred her experience from Associated Leadership Training and President of Levindale's Ladies Auxiliary to our executive board. She applied what she had learned to our challenges, and we all benefited. She shared her mother's philosophies, which we adapted as Estherisms. She gave us the structure that we needed to meet our goals and responsibilities. Our lives were enriched by her friendship and she will be sorely missed.

Gail, Melissa, Andy and entire Feinberg family;
What a very sad day for the family and friends that Janet is no longer with us. She was a model of what an elegant lady is, always dressed to the hilt, a wonderful person to have a good conversation with, a great friend and always thought of us (Jerry and I) on holidays where we were always invited over there.
We always felt we were a part of her family. My heart breaks for you that you lost both parents so close together, but I'm sure all of the wonderful memories you have will sustain you forever. They will always be in your heart - they never leave. You are so very blessed with the wonderful family you have, that helps a lot. You have my deepest sympathy and my thoughts are always with you. Rest in Peace, Janet, you will be missed by all.
