My heartfelt sympathy goes out to the entire Moss family. I was shocked and saddened to learn about his recent death. I recently retired and had spent the last 44 years working in the medical community of Columbia so our paths had crossed for many years. I always looked forward to seeing him. He was so kind and compassionate and always had a smile on his face. He will be missed by many. Cherish all the beautiful memories you have.

I was saddened to hear of the loss of your beloved husband and father, Jeff Moss. Jeff was such a kind, compassionate and insightful professional. He was my "rock" during a time in my life when his guidance and wisdom steadied my course. I remember seeing him a while back at the Giant Grocery Store in Dorsey Hall and he still had that warm friendly smile. May Jeff's memory be of a blessing. Barbara Frederick.

I'm so sorry about Jeff's passing; we haven't had any contact probably in almost 40 years but he will always hold a special place in my heart. Either as a BSW student in the early 70's or as an MSW student in the mid 70's is where I 1st met Jeff as he was an instructor and later a field instructor to me. I believe he was also a mentor and advisor when i ret'd for the Ph.D. program. I'm now largely retired after being a social worker, school administrator, adjunct professor and private practitioner for well over 40 years. His kindness, patience and wisdom played a significant role in my development, both as a professional and as a mensch. I'll remember him fondly and tenderly as such. My thoughts and prayers to his loved ones.

Dear Judy and Family -

I ache for your loss. Jeff was such a beautiful, humble and caring soul. I will always be grateful that I had the chance to work with him, learn from him and to be professionally and personally influenced by him. Whether he was feeding us some of his amazing concoctions, coming up with ways to gather us as a community, or pricking our thinking to understand how to more creatively and insightfully care for our clients, Jeff always challenged us to something finer.

Thank you for sharing him with us like that. May peace and comfort find you and hold you in all the days to come.
