I am so saddened to hear of Steven's passing and send my heartfelt condolences to all of the family. Steven once entertained me on a a cross-country road trip where he kept a pen going (of course, the writer that he was), and recorded every bump in the road, literally! I will miss seeing him in Seattle on my occasional visits there. May his kind and creative spirit be carried on.

I was a Mystic's groupie, when Steve played guitar (rhythm I think) in that wonderful band during my teen years. I still think of of that group whenever I hear the lyrics "sugar pie honey bun". I think Jerry Collins was the lead singer, Gus Banks played Bass. Life is way too short. I send my condolences to the family.

I knew Steve in my teenage years. We played together in one of the greatest bands of all time, The Mystics. I remember visiting Steve at his Mom's home off Old Court Road and listening to the Beatles and marveling how great they were. We played countless jobs together when we were in the Band. So sorry to hear of his passing. I lost touch with him after high school, but remember fondly the times we had. It was so great to be young!
