To the Plovan and Closic families,
My sincere condolences on the loss of Sybil, your beloved sister, mother and grandmother.
We spent many Friday nights together and have wonderful memories of her playing with my daughter. We realized we even shared an aunt and uncle in Wilmington. May you find blessings and comfort in your memories.

My family was blessed to know Sybil through the friendship we have with Brad and then the rest of his family. We became warmly woven into their homes. Sybil always spoke her mind and had a laugh ready to share. She was genuine and warm and I know she has left us with the knowledge that she raised her sons well and is loved dearly. Our family sends our deepest condolences to Brad and Stuart and the families. Much love from the Gray Family.

I live in Indianapolis, but my heart is in Baltimore today. I am a better man because I have known Sybil's son Stuart and her daughter-in-law Becky my entire adult life. They and their children are family.

My deepest and most sincere sympathies to the Plovan family, and to those fortunate enough to have known this remarkable woman.

We met Sybil through Joanne and Joe and we always enjoyed being with her. wmWe enjoyed stories of Wilmington because To ye spent so much time there as a kid with her Aunt and Uncle and cousins. She was a very special person and very kind of those she was very fond . I know she will be missed

Sybil always treated me like one of her sons. I remember one time she set me up on a date with a girl in the office at Chi Chi's. I was only 19, the girl was 21. I had to pretend to be Brad's friend to pass myself off as 21. Well, that didn't work.
The first time Cheryl and I visited Baltimore was during Passover. Two Catholics kept Kosher that week. I usually woke up early. Sybil went out to get the paper and shortly got my attention to come outside. There were about 20 deer at the end of the street.
